It's What I Do

This welcome happy morning finds me on the East lawn of the church tossing plastic eggs stuffed with a candy and a Bible verse. The risen sun glints and gleams from their shiny shapes.
"Are you the Easter Bunny?" a passerby cries out.
In my secret identity, I assure her.
Then I rest a bit on the garden wall, thinking of the angel at the empty tomb,
enjoying the breeze and sunshine of the first day of the week.
This is what I do.
Unseen presence
Sows faith in the Vineyard.
From the work of the people,
A joyous trumpet flows.
